I-71 N or S; take Red Bank Road (exit 9) onto Red Bank Expressway toward Fairfax. Continue onto Red Bank Road, right onto Wooster Pike. Armleder Park is approximately 1.4 miles on the left.

Campbell Lakes Preserve

Embshoff Woods

I-75 South, exit at Freeman Avenue. From Freeman, exit at 50 east (also called River Road). From 50, turn right on Fairbanks. From Fairbanks, bear left onto Delhi Pike. From Delhi, turn onto Mt. Alverno. From Mt. Alverno, turn left onto Paul Road. Paul Road dead ends at Embshoff.

Farbach-Werner Nature Preserve

Located 1 mile south of the Northgate Shopping Center at the corner of Colerain Avenue and Poole Road. From Colerain, turn onto Poole Road. Entrance is on the left side of Poole Road.

From Ronald Reagan Highway: Exit at Colerain Avenue, north on Colerain. Turn left onto Poole Road. Entrance is on the left side of Poole Road.

Fernbank Park

From downtown Cincinnati take US 50 West to community of Sayler Park; Fernbank Park is located on the left along the Ohio River or Ronald Regan Highway becomes I-275 South. Follow I-275 South to Exit 7 Ohio 128 toward Cleves/Hamilton. Turn left onto OH-128. Turn slight left onto US-50 East. Follow US-50 East (Three Rivers Parkway) to 50 Thornton Avenue.

Little Miami Golf Center

I-71 to Red Bank Road, turn left on Wooster Pike (U.S. Route 50) and right on Newtown Road to park entrance on right.

Avoca Park

From I-275: Exit at State Route 28 (exit #57 Milford). Go east toward city of Milford and cross the bridge. Route 28 ends here. Pick up U.S. Route 50 east for approximately 3.3 miles. Entrance to Avoca is on the left.

From City of Cincinnati: Take U.S. Route 50 (Columbia Parkway) east to Beechmont Avenue (State Route 125). Follow Beechmont East to State Route 32 (right after Lunken Airport). Follow State Route 32 into Newtown. Turn left at light onto Church Street (There is a Dairy Whip and a United Dairy Farmers on the corner). This is a conservation area. Miami Whitewater Forest

I-74 to Dry Fork Road exit, turn right on Dry Fork Road, turn right on West Road to park entrance. Also accessible from Route 128 to Mt. Hope Road.

Mitchell Memorial Forest

Oak Glen Nature Preserve

I-275 to Blue Rock road. Go north on Blue Rock for approximately 1.5 miles to Flick Road. Turn left on Flick for approximately .5 mile to Thompson Road. Turn right on Thompson, Oak Glen Nature Preserve is on the right approximately 2 miles from Flick Road. This is a conservation area. Please contact the Rangers at (513) 521-3980 to schedule a visit.

Richardson Forest Preserve

Take 27 (at Colerain Avenue exit) north from I-275 to Kemper Road (past Rumpke landfill). Turn right at the Kemper Road exit and then right onto Kemper Road. Turn left onto Lick Road (the first road to the left). Continue on Lick Road until it dead ends at a locked gate. This is a conservation area.
