AMAZING ARTHROPODS
Teachers, bring your kindergarten through second grade classes for this fascinating look into the life of bugs and other arthropods. We will take a hike, participate in insect Olympics, play a game, make a craft, see a movie and taste an insect food. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday will be at Farbach-Werner Nature Preserve at 10 am or 12:30 pm and Friday will be at Fernbank Park at 10 am or 12:30 pm.

WINTON LAKE LIFE
Sign up your sixth through twelth grade class for this in-depth exploration of Winton Lake and its inhabitants. Through hands-on activities, your students will get to test the water quality of the lake during a boat cruise using scientific instruments, view and identify microscopic phytoplankton and zooplankton and hike along the lake. Emphasis will be given to the food web. Location: Winton Woods

LEAVES FOR LITTLE FOLK
Bring your preschool and kindergarten classes for a fun-filled day of trees and leaves as we learn all about why the foliage changes color and leaves fall off during this season. We will take a hike, do a craft, and play a game while studying colors, shapes, numbers, sounds and textures of leaves! Farbach-Werner Nature Preserve, except October 15 at Fernbank Park

PIONEER LIFE
Step into our time machine with your third to eighth grade class and learn about life on the Ohio frontier. Naturalists in period clothing will teach your students about everyday life on the Ohio frontier in the early 1800s. Picnic tables are available nearby if you wish to have your lunch in the park. FALL COLOR
This program designed for grades 1 through 6 will look at the concepts of tree growth, pigments and tree identification and how they relate to our local beautiful fall color. It will include a pigment extraction activity. Location: Sharon Woods

CANOEING BADGE
Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts are invited to register for this session to work towards earning their Canoe Badge. This program will be lead by an ACA Certified Canoe Instructor and all equipment will be provided. Location: Winton Woods

ARCHERY BADGE
Scouts are invited to register for this session to work towards earning their Archery Badge using compound bows. Location: Winton Woods

NATURALIST AND FORESTER BADGES
Webelos Cub Scout leaders, this is your chance to complete the Naturalist and Forester Badges with your pack. We will accomplish requirements 4, 6, 7, 8 and 9 of the Naturalist Badge, and requirements 2, 3, 4, 6 and 7 of the Forester Badge. Location: Winton Woods
