Trails -- Walk Club

walk club walking a trail

The Hamilton County Park District parks provide the backdrop for Walk Club, a group of adults, ages 55 and older, who enjoy morning walks. This club focuses on more than just a stroll in the park; this club is all about fitness.

On a monthly basis, the Hamilton County Park District sponsors informational, health-related programs for the walkers. Non-members can take this opportunity to join the Walk Club. Membership is free.

Groups of Walk Club members meet at Farbach–Werner Nature Preserve, Miami Whitewater Forest, Winton Woods and Sharon Woods every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 8:30 a.m. to walk the park trails.

Individuals interested in joining Walk Club may call (513) 728-3551, extension 240 to register and receive a free informational package in the mail. This program is open to the public and sponsored by the Health Alliance, the Hamilton County General Health District and the Hamilton County Park District. A valid Hamilton County Park District Motor Vehicle Permit is required to enter all the parks ($2.00 daily, $5.00 annual).
