DESCRIPTION:Protect nature\, care for the outdoors and explore Great Parks at our community volunteer project! Multiple native tree plantings occur annually throughout the park. These plantings require routine maintenance to ensure their success. Tasks include auditing surviving trees\, repairing wire fences\, adjusting posts and removing vegetation within the fencing. The fencing around these plantings is necessary to reduce animal impacts such as deer browsing and bucks rubbing the bark off.
