Summer Day Camps


Day Camps

Children ages 2-17 can take part in summer camps focused on nature, adventure, farm life and horseback riding! Camps are held in various Great Parks across the Cincinnati area, including Sharon Woods, Winton Woods and Lake Isabella. All camps are drop-off, unless otherwise indicated.

Scholarships
Great Parks Forever offers day camp scholarship opportunities. The Caleb Simpson Scholarship Fund provides financial assistance to individuals and groups to help them experience all that the great outdoors has to offer. To apply or find out more, click here.

Growing up a Farm Kid Camp

Growing up a Farm Kid Camp

Get close to the farm animals with your toddler or preschooler. Help with some simple farm chores, read stories, make crafts and play games. One parent or adult caregiver is required to stay, play and learn along with their child.

If your children love animals and being outdoors, then this is the camp for them! We will explore the farm while visiting the animals, riding a pony, making crafts, playing games, and reading stories. Campers will have hands-on opportunities to discover and investigate in a safe, friendly and fun environment. This is a drop-off program in which children learn about the farm with their peers and Parky's Farm staff.

Creativity and fun abound at this four-day festival of farm animal crafts. Visit the farm animals and the garden to collect art supplies and make crafts to take home. Find out which animals on the farm are also artistic. This is a drop-off program in which children learn about the farm with their peers and Parky’s Farm staff.

Discover the world of ponies and their friends as we learn how to care for them. Brush and groom a pony until he shines and go for a pony ride! Play horsey games and make crafts. This is a drop-off program in which children learn about the farm with their peers and Parky’s Farm staff.

Get ready for a week of exciting and enriching farm experiences! Campers help care for our animals each day with farm activities, including feeding the cows and chickens and grooming ponies. Food can be fun! Put on your chef’s hat and apron in order to help make your own lunch. Visit the farm animals that provide us with the ingredients, gather fresh produce from the garden then create a delicious meal. This camp is recommended for campers willing to try a variety of child friendly foods. This is a drop-off program in which children learn about the farm with their peers and Parky’s Farm staff. 

 

Farmer For a Week

Ages: 9–13

Dates: July 16-20, 9:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.

Explosions, flying objects and campers unite. Meet farm animals, explore the woods and find out what on the farm we can (safely) explode and send flying.
