Hamilton County Park District’s mission is to preserve and protect natural resources and to provide outdoor recreation and education in order to enhance the quality of life for present and future generations.

The Hamilton County Park District is dedicated to the fundamentals of protecting consumer privacy on the Internet. Our privacy practices for our website, GreatParks.org, are based upon guidelines established by the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and Controlling the Assault of Non-Solicited Pornography and Marketing Act (CAN-SPAM).

Does GreatParks.org and the Hamilton County Park District collect personal information from site visitors?

Hamilton County Park District collects personal information from our visitors only on a voluntary basis. We do not require this information for customers to obtain access to our site. However, in order to register for some of the programs offered on the Hamilton County Park District website, or to make merchandise purchases, you may have to provide personal information such as name, address, phone number and email so we may contact you with program confirmation, as well as credit card information to complete a financial transaction. Credit card information is destroyed after the program takes place or the merchandise has been shipped.

Occasionally, we may also ask for personal information (such as age, zip code, which parks you visit) for our own internal marketing use. You may provide this information on a voluntary basis. If you provide this information to the Hamilton County Park District, we will maintain your privacy and will not sell, rent or share this information with third parties. Only those people who ask to be added to our e-newsletter list or who ask for information from us will receive e-mail communications from the Park District. We also offer an “unsubscribe” feature that allows you, at any time, to have the Hamilton County Park District discontinue e-mail communications.
