The Winton Woods Riding Center offers a Scout Badge Program to all levels of Scouts beginning with age 7, Brownie, Cub, etc. through Sr. Scout levels. The Scout Badge Program is 1 ½ hours long, split into two (2) 45 minute periods covering ground knowledge and basic riding skills, instruction/requirements. We can customize the information presented to fit any badge requirements specific to your group if different from the information we typically offer.
This program is available for a minimum of three (3) with a maximum of twenty (20) participants. The times offered are Monday through Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. as well as Saturday and Sunday beginning at 4:30 p.m. The cost is $23.00 per scout and must be scheduled and paid in full a minimum of 2 weeks in advance.
This program is very popular, we strongly recommend you to schedule your group time as far in advance as possible. Each scout/participant will need to bring a completed and signed Trail Ride Waiver which can be downloaded from this site.
