Benefits of Volunteers-In-Parks

Volunteering for the Hamilton County Park District is a rewarding experience. You’ll be contributing to the success of an volunteer handing out papers to visitorsorganization that is dedicated to preserving the beauty of nature while providing a safe, relaxing setting for families and friends to enjoy the great outdoors.

The Hamilton County Park District is both proud of and grateful for the efforts of our many Volunteers. To express our appreciation, an annual recognition dinner is held where Volunteers are presented with service awards according to the number of hours contributed during the year and years of service donated. Other special events are offered each year, as well as monthly meetings.

Volunteers are provided with a uniform shirt and name tag, as well as a Hamilton County Park District Motor Vehicle Permit that provides access to all 20 parks. A quarterly newsletter provides nature-related articles, as well as a calendar of events and volunteer opportunities.

Volunteers who contribute more than 100 hours per year are eligible for the VIP Recreation Card that provides free access to Park District golf courses and other recreational facilities and activities.
