Camping - Winton Woods Campground

Winton Woods Campground, set in a pine grove alongside Winton Woods Lake and within easy walking distance of Winton Woods Harbor Point, is perfectly suited for either an overnight stop or family vacation destination. The campground is located within Winton Woods, a 2,554 acre park situated in north-central Hamilton County, approximately 20 minutes north of downtown Cincinnati and 30 minutes south of the Kings Island Amusement Park. Featuring 100 campsites in all, campers will find 10 sites with water, sewage and 50 amp electric hookups, 80 sites with 30 amp electric hookups and 10 camping cabins. Camping cabins are basic sleeping cabins with bed space for five people. Every campsite includes a parking pad, picnic table, fire ring and plenty of elbow room! A heated shower building, sanitary dump station, laundry, playground and camp store are all located conveniently within the campground.
Electric sites are $20.00; full hookup sites are $28.00 and camping cabins are $34.95.

Reservations
Telephone reservations are placed by calling the campground office at 513-851-2267. Reservations may be paid for at the time they are placed with Visa or Mastercard. If you prefer, telephone reservations may also be held for seven days on a tentative basis. Payment can then be made in-person or by mail. Tentative reservations which remain unpaid after this seven day period, will be canceled without notification. Once payment is received, the reservation is considered confirmed. If time allows, campers will receive a written confirmation of their reservation. Payment must be received at least 48 hours prior to check-in time for any tentative phone reservation placed less than one week in advance of the arrival date. Please be aware that camping fees will not be refunded, but a credit can be issued for cancellations made at least 48 hours in advance. For all sites, there is a 14-day stay limit and a three night stay is required on Memorial Day, July 4th and Labor Day weekends. Note: All weekends in October are held for Halloween Campouts and are reserved at a later date, call 513-851-CAMP for information.

In-person reservations may be placed at the Winton Woods Campground Office during regular hours of operation.

Group reservations of ten sites or more may be placed in-person or by telephone. Groups wishing to place a tentative reservation are required to stay a minimum of two nights. Tentative group reservations must be guaranteed by a non-refundable $100.00 deposit. Groups may cancel some or all of their reservation at least 30 days in advance of arrival with no additional penalty. Beyond this point, all sites are locked in and cannot be cancelled. The second non-refundable payment equal to one-half of the outstanding balance is due at the 30-day cutoff date. The final payment of the remaining balance is due a minumum of seven days prior to the arrival date.

Directions
From I-71 or I-75, go west on I-275 (north of Cincinnati). Take exit #39 and go south on Winton Road, approximately 3 miles, turning left into the park. From I-74, take I-275 north and east to exit #39.
