Hit the Trails
Bicycling is one of the most popular and fastest growing outdoor activities in America, and Great Parks has more than 84 miles for you to explore. Create your own adventure or check our calendar for bicycling programs and mountain biking events.
There are shared-use, paved trails at most Great Parks where you can take a spin and discover something new. Hit the trails on your own bike or rent one at Miami Whitewater Forest, Sharon Woods and Winton Woods boathouses.
Little Miami Scenic Trail
The third longest paved trail in the U.S., the Little Miami Scenic Trail runs along the banks of the Little Miami River and connects five Ohio counties. Guests can access this trail from the Little Miami Golf Center parking lot, Avoca Trailhead or Bass Island.
Mountain Bike Trail
The Mountain Bike Trail at Mitchell Memorial Forest is the first official mountain bike trail in Hamilton County. Designed per International Mountain Biking Association standards, the trail includes moderate to steep terrain, several technical features and some sections of more difficult trail.
Bike Repair Stations
Self-serve bike repair stations and tire pumps are located at four Great Parks. Guests can change a flat tire, adjust brakes and complete other routine maintenance and basic bike repairs. Stations also feature nature-inspired sculptural bike racks designed by local artist James Billiter and ArtWorks Cincinnati.
