Great Parks hosts a celebration of Hispanic culture with its fifth annual Hispanic Heritage Festival, including music, dancing, food and plenty of activities for families, from 3-7 p.m. on Sunday, September 21 at Sharon Woods. There is no charge to attend, and food and beverages are available for purchase.

The Hispanic Heritage Festival is an annual highlight of the fall season, taking place at the start of National Hispanic Heritage Month. This event is known for its great entertainment, authentic Hispanic cuisine and Great Parks education and creative activities.

The festival will also include several community-focused organizations to share information about their work in the area.

Great Parks exists to build bonds between nature and all people in the community. The Hispanic Heritage Festival is one of several events planned throughout the year in which Great Parks brings together communities from different backgrounds to explore the 22 destinations across its more than 18,000 acres.

Kings Volkswagen is the supporting sponsor for the festival. The Great Parks Motor Vehicle Permit requirement is waived for this event.
