Support and connect with your loved one while enjoying the healing powers of nature with the Connect with Nature Senior Series. Each of our nature series will include an activity in nature, a craft, a nature presentation and snacks and giveaways.

Sept. 29, 10 a.m. - noon
Exercise your brain during this program by celebrating the beauty of butterflies. Learn something new and strengthen your memory and concentration by focusing on these colorful creatures.


Connect With Nature Senior Series: Ohio State Symbols

Saturday, Oct. 9, 10 a.m. – noon
Nurture your mental health with an outdoor program all about the flora and fauna honored as Ohio state symbols. Time outdoors can help us relax, improve our moods, and reduce feelings of depression, stress, and anxiety.


Connect With Nature Senior Series: Feathered Friends

Thursday, Oct. 14, 3 p.m. – 5 p.m.
Increase energy levels and reduce stress by bird watching. Even just a few moments outside each day can lead to bursts of healthy energy for aging adults. Soak up some sunshine and Vitamin D to increase your energy, mood, and better overall physical health.


Connect With Nature Senior Series: Fall Foliage

Saturday, Oct. 23, 1 p.m. – 3 p.m.
Give your immune system a boost with an infusion of trees and plant life during this program celebrating Ohio’s trees and their beautiful fall display. Breathing fresh air helps our bodies produce more white blood cells to battle viruses and inflammation.
