Hikers and runners, are you up for a challenge? Whether you enjoy trails solo, with your family, or accompanied by your furry friend, Great Parks has a challenge for you to achieve your miles all while working toward a personal goal!

Join the 2024 Trek & Run Trail Challenge, where you’ll be a part of our virtual hiking community. Learn trekking tips, boost outdoor awareness, and spark new friendships! All ages can join in on the trekking fun. 

Get outside before November 1 to complete one or all three milestones:

• Trek seven Great Parks’ trails
• Complete 50 miles
• Log a hike/run at all 14 participating Great Parks

Participants receive access to our exclusive Trek & Run Trail Challenge Facebook group. Not on Facebook? Use the hashtag #GPTrailChallenge on Instagram to share your challenge achievements.

End-of-Season Raffle: To enter the end-of season-raffle, participants must fill out and submit a Trail Log. Submit your treks by November 1, and you’ll receive one raffle entry. Participants can earn extra raffle entries by completing milestones. End-of-season raffle winner(s) will be notified via email.

Paid hiker and runner participants will receive a Great Parks branded hat by mail. Paid hiker/runner and pet participants will receive a hat and branded waste bag dispenser for their four-legged friend.(While supplies last).
