Hops & Hyzers Disc Golf Tournament

What to know

Great Parks' annual disc golf tournament is open to participants of all ages and abilities, especially those within the beginner to intermediate levels of play. Experience Winton Woods' beautiful 18-hole course, enjoy a HighGrain brew (21+), and have a bite with friends and family. Additional games and contests are available to families, children, and spectators throughout the day. Tee times are limited to five players each. Following the tournament please be sure to join us at HighGrain – Brentwood location for our awards celebration at 7pm. Click here to register for tee times.

**This volunteer opportunity has been cancelled due to predicted rain and potential thunderstorms.** Protect nature, care for the outdoors and explore Great Parks at our community volunteer project! Great Parks is proud to collaborate with the Ohio River Valley Water Sanitation Commission (ORSANCO) in one of the biggest multi-state litter cleanups in the country. Join us as we remove litter from the Ohio River along the shores of Fernbank Park. This is a great way to start a Saturday, and you’ll get a free Ohio River Sweep t-shirt!

Kick off the morning with a discussion about outdoor accessibility before hitting the trails with clipboards and binoculars. This group meets monthly at various Great Parks destinations.

What to know

A fun way to learn the wonderful game of golf! You will become familiar with the fundamentals of the five shots encountered on the golf course, including wood shots, iron shots, chipping, pitching and putting. Classes will cover fundamentals, rules and etiquette. Classes run five consecutive weeks.
