1800s Harvest Jamboree

What to know

Every autumn in the 1800s, Ohioans reaped what they sowed: crops! Step back in time to celebrate fall food and fellowship at this historic 19th-century jubilee. Taste traditionally prepared dishes at the pioneer picnic, join in frontier festivities, toss tomahawks and enjoy family-friendly games. Some activities require a small fee.

Tree Planting with CORA at Mitchell Memorial Forest

What to know

Team up with CORA, the Cincinnati Off-Road Alliance, to improve the Mountain Bike Trail. Volunteers from Great Parks and CORA will plant trees along the trail to fill in gaps in the canopy. After the event, CORA is providing food to celebrate a job well done.

Pony Playday

What to know

Horse around for a morning of pony appreciation and learning. Saddle up to ride a pony, groom a horse until it shines and use your unbridled creativity to make crafts. Registration includes one complimentary adult chaperone (required). A second adult may register for an additional fee but is not eligible for pony rides.

Find Your Stride: A Running Club

Enjoy an evening where nature, community and exercise blend together for an interpretive 5K. Trek at your own pace or alongside a guide through hills, gorges, paths and prairies. All runners, joggers and walkers are welcome!
