Great Parks is proud to collaborate with the Ohio River Valley Water Sanitation Commission (ORSANCO) to take part in one of the biggest multi-state litter pickups in the country! Annually, volunteers from the six states that border the Ohio River remove litter at multiple locations along the river and many of its tributaries. Join us at the Woodland Mound Boat Ramp, formerly known as the Steamboat Bend Boat Ramp, to assist in picking up litter washed up from the Ohio River. You are welcome to bring your own trash grabber! Trash bags and gloves will be provided. This project is from 9 a.m. to noon.
