What to know

Join Great Parks and The Nature Conservancy (TNC) as we work together to regenerate Ohio's forests by collecting tree nuts from your own yard or other public areas and helping us plant the next generation of forests. TNC was founded in the U.S. through grassroots action in 1951 and has become one of the world’s largest environmental organizations. One of their most successful projects has been tree nut plantings. The former Shawnee Lookout Golf Course will soon become a natural trail, and we will be kick-starting that process with one of these tree nut planting events!
