What to know

Calling all young, aspiring anglers! Kid’s Mystery Fish is a perfect opportunity to test out your skills and have some friendly competition. Any fish that is caught, no matter how big or small, is weighed. Then, the mystery weights are revealed and the fish closest to that wins the trophy. On-site registrations opens 1 hour prior to the start of the tournament.

Eager to cover new ground and reveal unseen sights? Challenge yourself with a rigorous, two-mile hike across uneven terrain through a secluded portion of one of our largest parks. This group meets at the Mitchell Memorial Forest Stone Shelter and buses to the program location.

What to know

Join us for a themed discussion and a walk in one of the Great Parks. Discussion topics will be targeted to teens and adults and will be led by Hamilton County Conservation District staff. Cincinnati and Hamilton County Public Library staff will offer children’s activities during the discussions. Then we’ll head out for a walk in nature with Great Parks interpreters to learn more about the seasonal theme. Register online at least one day in advance.
