Protect nature, care for the outdoors and explore Great Parks at our community volunteer project! Great Parks is proud to collaborate with the Ohio River Valley Water Sanitation Commission (ORSANCO) in one of the biggest multi-state litter cleanups in the country. Join us as we remove litter from the Ohio River along the shores of Fernbank Park. This is a great way to start a Saturday, and you’ll get a free Ohio River Sweep t-shirt! Volunteers 13 years of age or younger must be accompanied by parent or guardian.

Experience the fun and freedom of kayaking on calm waters! Led by a certified instructor, this beginner-friendly class teaches essential safety practices, proper gear use and foundational paddling techniques. Participants must properly fit into the provided life jackets and not exceed the 275-lb. weight limit. All equipment is provided. Children must be accompanied by a paid, participating adult.
