Mike Uffman has been a golf professional with the Great Parks of Hamilton County since 2000, serving as an Assistant Professional as Shawnee Lookout and Sharon Woods prior to his time as Head Professional at Shawnee Lookout and Miami Whitewater Forest. Mike understands that although students learn in a variety of ways, the one common thread is the desire to learn. He is a proponent of launch monitor analysis and other technologies to show the student exactly how the swing influences the ball. From simple drills on the range to time spent playing on the golf course, the time invested in learning the game should be both fun and rewarding.
Jennifer (Johnson) Ridle is the Class A PGA golf professional Clubhouse Manager at Miami Whitewater Forest and Shawnee Lookout. Jennifer has been employed with the Great Parks since 2001 and has been Assistant Golf Professional since 2002. Focusing on instruction, Jennifer has a large clientele of students ranging from novice beginners to advance students. Her knowledge, commitment and love for teaching and the game of golf allow her to develop any skill level in any student. Jennifer’s teaching philosophy is that every golfer needs to master the basic fundamentals so his/her swing can feel effortless. Understanding the fundamentals of the grip, set-up, alignment, ball position and most importantly balance, golfers will achieve a solid and consistent swing. Playing accomplishments: 2004 Greater Cincinnati PGA Ladies Stroke Play Champion, 2010 Southern Ohio PGA Ladies Champion.
