Sponsorship FAQ

  • We protect the most land in Hamilton County: Great Parks is Hamilton County’s largest landowner at over 18,000 acres, accounting for one-third of the county’s open space, and a commitment to protect 80% as natural space.
  • The Community Loves Us! With 7.1 million visits in 2024, Great Parks is one of our most popular local destinations, outpacing Cincinnati Parks, Kings Island, BLINK, the Cincinnati Reds, the Cincinnati Zoo and more!
  • Take a Hike with Us: Great Parks has 98 miles of trails and counting.
  • Education is at Our Core: Each year, over 80 free- and reduced-cost lunch program schools participate in our on- and off-site education programs. We also offer over 1,800 public educational programs each year.
  • Great Parks’ Vision for the Future: To maintain our role as the region's conservation leader, we gathered community feedback to drive future park plans. The result of that community input was the Great Parks of Hamilton County masterplan, which includes the goals to build more trails, add programming and events for diverse audiences and build ecological resiliency and sustainability.

A 2020 study found that Great Parks has a $107 million economic impact on Greater Cincinnati. Additionally, spending more time outdoors is directly connected to the wellness of our region’s children and families. Being outside in green spaces supports an active and healthy lifestyle, which has been shown to increase life expectancy, improve sleep quality and reduce cancer risk.

Along with supporting physical wellness, spending time in nature also bolsters mental well-being, including lowering the risk of depression, restoring and strengthening our mental capacity and increasing focus and attention. Great Parks’ big lands offer these benefits to everyone in our region every day.

Our guests are your current and future customers. In 2024, Great Parks hosted 7.1 million visitors from community members across the Tri-State and beyond. Great Parks guests are health-conscious, eco-minded families and residents who have a passion for active outdoor living.
