Contractors will start securing Sharon Woods Harbor for construction of the new harbor. Highbanks Drive and a portion of the Sharon Lake Trail will be closed starting October 13 until Spring 2028. Barriers will be installed 10/13 along Highbanks Road to close vehicular access from Kemper to the Highbanks parking lot. Fencing will be installed 10/14-10/15 to enclose the site and close a portion of the Sharon Lake Trail (~0.3 miles) from the Kemper bridge tunnel to Kreis Dam. Completion of the project is subject to change and updates will be provided on the Sharon Woods Revitalization project page.

Designed by William H. Diddel and opened by renowned golfer Bobby Jones in 1938, Sharon Woods Golf Course is the oldest of Great Parks' six courses. Known for its enticing challenge and rolling hills, the course demands every club in the bag, making it a timeless favorite for golfers of all skill levels.
