Hedgeapple Trail

Featuring unique Osage orange (hedgeapple) trees once used as natural fencing, the trail runs along a vernal pool that provides habitat for amphibians and turtles. Birds like barred owls and several species of warbler can also be spotted. A short extension off the main trail winds through a scenic wooded hillside below the Weston Overlook.
