Great Parks Hosts Magical Fairy Tale Festival at Glenwood Gardens

Fantastic princesses, heroes and magical creatures will appear at the Fairy Tale Festival, a day with fun adventure and wide-eyed wonderment for children in the perfect setting of Great Parks’ whimsical Highfield Discovery Garden, one of the specially themed spaces found inside Glenwood Gardens. The Fairy Tale Festival is from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. on Saturday, September 26.

This festival is an annual favorite for young guests, who are encouraged to dress up as their favorite character. The day includes live performances from Madcap Puppets. Guests can also test their fairy tale skills on Rapunzel’s tower and Merida’s archery range.

Fairy tale characters will wander the garden to meet children, including Rapunzel, Merida, Alice, the Mad Hatter and a Garden Fairy. Alice and the Mad Hatter will host their tea party. Children can also enjoy face painting and hair braiding, included with admission. 

Food and beverage will be available for purchase.

Guests must purchase their tickets at GreatParks.org before coming to the Fairy Tale Festival, and entry times are scheduled every 30 minutes. On-site tickets are not available. Dogs are not permitted in Highfield Discovery Garden.
