A half-mile section of the Little Miami Scenic Trail at Bass Island is closed from April 21 through May 1, while the parking lot is expanded and the entry drive from Newtown Road is reconstructed. The closure extends from U.S. 50/Wooster Pike to the entrance to the Little Miami Golf Center.
Trail users can still access the trail from the Little Miami Golf Center and Avoca Trailhead, both of which offer on-site parking with a valid Motor Vehicle Permit.

Avoca Trailhead provides access to the Little Miami Scenic Trail and the new Avoca Mountain Bike Trail. From a quick restroom break to a picnic along the scenic Little Miami River, it is a convenient location to enjoy the beauty of nature.
