Winton Woods Campground

Winton Woods Campground is set in a pine grove alongside Winton Woods Lake and is within easy walking distance of Winton Woods Harbor, and the boathouse, snack bar and wet playground. The campground is located approximately 20 minutes north of downtown Cincinnati and 30 minutes south of Kings Island amusement park.

Winton Woods Campground is a place where guest can refresh, reconnect, and escape the grid. Plan your stay before you reserve a camping site. We welcome visits to the campground Sunday afternoon through Thursday. Stop into the Campground Office for additional information. We look forward to welcoming you and making your stay a memorable one.

  • An online reservation will be required to camp at Winton Woods Campground.

  • Winter Camping

    Winter Camping

    Winton Woods Campground offers winter camping from December 2, 2024 through March 6, 2025. Sites 1F-25F and 1R-12R will be open for $38/night. Sites have 30/50 electric and sewer hook-up. Water is shut off at the sites. You can fill your tank from the hydrant next to the shower house. This is not a permanent hook-up hydrant. The shower house, dump stations, cabins, and remaining campsites are closed. They will re-open on March 7, 2025. The 14-night maximum stay is lifted during winter camping. It will be back in place on March 7, 2025. Reservations for winter camping must be made online in advance by going to greatparks.org or by calling the campground office 513-851-2267. No same-day reservations, walk-in reservations, or first-come, first-served reservations are accepted. The campground office is closed during winter camping.

    Check-in: Please do not arrive earlier than 2 p.m.

    Check-out: Campers must vacate their site by noon on the date shown on your site tag.

    *Please adhere to these times as your site may be reserved by another camper.

  • Halloween Creepy Campouts

    Creepy Campouts at Winton Woods Campground have been a Halloween tradition for more than 30 years. Families - come enjoy one last camping weekend of the year. This not-so-spooky event is a chance to create memories that will last a lifetime. Take part in activities each weekend, including trick-or-treating and contests for Best Jack-o’-Lantern and Best Decorated Campsite.
