Winton Woods Campground

Winton Woods Campground is set in a pine grove alongside Winton Woods Lake and is within easy walking distance of Winton Woods Harbor, and the boathouse, snack bar and wet playground. The campground is located approximately 20 minutes north of downtown Cincinnati and 30 minutes south of Kings Island amusement park.

Winton Woods Campground is a place where guest can refresh, reconnect, and escape the grid. Plan your stay before you reserve a camping site. We welcome visits to the campground Sunday afternoon through Thursday. Stop into the Campground Office for additional information. We look forward to welcoming you and making your stay a memorable one.

  • Halloween Creepy Campouts

    Creepy Campouts at Winton Woods Campground have been a Halloween tradition for more than 30 years. Families - come enjoy one last camping weekend of the year. This not-so-spooky event is a chance to create memories that will last a lifetime. Take part in activities each weekend, including trick-or-treating and contests for Best Jack-o’-Lantern and Best Decorated Campsite.

  • Winter Camping

    Winton Woods Campground offers winter camping from Nov. 26, 2023 through March 7, 2024. Sites 1F-25F and 1R-12R will be open for $36.75/night with limited amenities. Sites offer 30/50 amp electric and sewer hook-up. Water is shut off, but you can fill your tank from the hydrant next to the shower house. This is not a permanent hook-up hydrant. The campground office, shower house, dump station, cabins, and remaining campsites are closed. They will re-open on March 8, 2024. The 14-night maximum stay is lifted until March 8, 2024. Reservations must be made online at least one day in advance, or by calling the campground office Monday-Friday from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at 513-851-2267. No same-day reservations accepted. No walk-in reservations or first-come, first-served reservations accepted.

    Check-in: Please do not arrive earlier than 2 p.m.
    Check-out: Campers must vacate their site by noon on the date shown on your site tag.

    *Please adhere to these times as your site may be reserved by another camper.
